We’re currently working on perfecting the skin tone colors for our avatar bases, and we want YOUR feedback to help make sure everyone feels represented and fabulous!

We’ve put together a selection of skin tones, but before we finalize anything, we want to hear from YOU! What shades do you love? Are there any that we should tweak or add?

Your opinion matters so much to us, and this is a great chance to leave your mark on Zenkai Online! 🎉

As the site owner of Zenkai Online, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the stunning image created for us. The level of detail, from the vibrant colors to the intricate design, truly captures the essence of our community and vision. It embodies the playful yet engaging spirit of Zenkai, making it a perfect representation of our platform. I love them! I think they look great and have great colors to choose from.

I have put “Their okay” And here is why: I love the colors available, but I feel like having more would be great. It would be even really cool if it would even just be possible to have a color wheel and people can have any color skin they want. I do not know what it would take to make it actually happen so I understand if it is not possible. If not I would offer more to choose from. :)This includes wacky colors like blue, pink, green, purple, ect. Who is to say that the avatars people wish to make are human? :3But don’t get me wrong the skin colors available currently look great! You guys are all doing a wonderful job at creating the avatars!

We’re excited to let you know that we will be implementing a color picker, which will allow users to change not only the avatar base but also the items. This will open up endless customization, including wacky colors like blue, pink, green, purple, and more, so you’re not limited to just human-like avatars. Your ideas are very much in line with our vision, and we’re working hard to make it all happen. Thanks again for your support, and we can’t wait for you to try it out!

I think they’re decent. More options are always better, but this is fine to start with. There are tones in-between that would be great that are missing, but I can’t name them off the top of my head. So, I’d be fine with leaving it as it is.

Firstly I want to acknowledge all the hard work that has been going into this site. Seriously always on top of everything and pushing for things to get done quickly and efficiently.

As for the avatar bases, I think they are wonderful! The six different skin tone shades are wonderful places for the start of the avatar system. The shading and highlights are all in great places too! Its not over done which looks clean and cute~

I do agree having more skin tones would be amazing! Some people want to dress up other than human and having wacky skin tones will give users the ability to do so. But it is understandable that six skin tones is what we are getting for now. It takes a lot of time and effort to put in all the varieties of just one thing. Imagine having to put out items, a simple shirt for instance, and having to recolor/shade it for every single primary and secondary color. It is A LOT.

So I absolutely love the six skin tones that we are starting out with! I think they go from a very nice light to a very nice dark. I am excited to see the rest!

Thanks for the feedback! We’ll be implementing color pickers for both the avatar itself and the items, so you’ll have even more options to customize your look. This will help fill in the gaps for those in-between tones as well!

For human skin tones, this is a wonderful variety to have so far! I have read other members’ feedback and do agree that more inhuman skin tones might be good to have as well, and exploring the idea of a color wheel might not be too bad, coding difficulties allowing. And as always a wonderful job to @BunBunDango!
